Job description

GRADE: MPS (applications are welcomed from newly qualified teachers)
HOURS: 32.5 Hours per week (Full time)
START DATE: February 2018 or sooner

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a Primary School located in the centre of Burnley with strong community links. The school has gained numerous awards for its commitment to learning and Sports. The school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated teacher to join their vibrant and dynamic KS1 team to support children in further developing independent learning in either Y1 or Y2 (to be decided).

The school we are working with have friendly children with supportive parents, the children are keen to learn and we are looking for a teacher who will challenge them. The school is made up of experienced staff, the Leadership Team have trained within schools in the Burnley area and are passionate about continuously raising standards in school.

Teaching Persnnel are also able to offer a number of CPD Opportunities to Teachers that register with us and we are interested in constantly up-skilling our staff. CPD courses include; Team Teach, Autism Awareness, PREVENT DUTY and Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 and 2.

We are looking for: An outstanding practitioner who is committed to contribute to the development of children and strives for high standards with experience in Y1 and Y2. A creative thinker who makes learning exciting and is able to bring the curriculum to life. Someone with experience leading an extra curricular club who will contribute to all aspects of school life.
