PMLD/MLD Teacher - East London

This SEN school in East London are looking for a passionate and driven PMLD/MLD Teacher to continue the excellent education that they provide.

Person Specification

We are looking for an effective PMLD/MLD Teacher who has at least 1 year of teaching experience and worked in an environment with a high number complex need pupil previously. The right PMLD/MLD Teacher will have confidence in their ability to keep up with work in a vibrant and busy SEN school and a caring, empathetic approach to working with learners who require a high degree of sensory input and work to a curriculum that is tailored to their needs. We want to recruit a PMLD/MLD Teacher who has a flexible approach and the skills to adapt to an ever-changing environment using their quick-witted and flexible approach.

About the Role

As a PMLD/MLD Teacher your role will involve you teaching one of the KS3 classes who will be of mixed ability and will present with a range of barriers to their needs including autism, global developmental delay and moderate to profound learning difficulties. The school take care in selecting right graduate TAs who are both eager and proactive in supporting teachers support their students to be part of a truly inclusive educational experience.

The School - PMLD/MLD Teacher

Found in East London, this expanding SEN school is considered to be an established and welcoming school where staff are committed to supporting all learners in their educational journey regardless of their barriers to learning. Pupils are aged between 5-19, and present with profound, severe, and multiple learning difficulties. The faculty have a great team ethic and, together, help to create an ethos of tolerance and respect where students can learn in a positive, optimistic environment.
