Physics Teacher – Full Time (ASAP Start)

About the Role
A secondary school in Kirkham is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join their Science department on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT eager to inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will become part of a supportive Science team committed to delivering engaging lessons, driving academic progress, and helping students develop a deep understanding and love for Physics.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
- Plan, assess, and track student progress effectively
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support wider school activities and uphold the school’s values
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics and a solid understanding of the wider Science curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to raising achievement and inspiring students
- Enthusiasm, adaptability, and a collaborative working approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
