An exciting opportunity has arisen for Teaching Assistants to join a specialist education setting in the St Austell area that caters to pupils aged 2–19 with complex learning and communication needs, including autism and behavioural challenges.

This is a rolling vacancy, meaning applications are welcomed throughout the year. Candidates will be contacted as and when positions become available.

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the educational and physical needs of pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis. You will play a vital role in creating a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment that encourages learning, development, and wellbeing.

• Passionate about supporting pupils with diverse and complex needs
• Caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated to making a positive impact
• Flexible and proactive with strong teamwork and communication skills

• Experienced (or willing to learn) in supporting pupils with ASD and behavioural needs
