PE Teacher Wanted - South Wales

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Physical Education teacher in a diverse South West Wales secondary school. The role is beginning in September and will become permanent for the right candidate.

The school is a popular and well established school whose aim is to expect and celebrate our many successes. They are very proud to serve the communities of Cimla, Tonmawr, Pontrhydyfen, Tonna and parts of Neath, and welcome preferred placements from outside the main catchment area.

The schools academic success and extra-curricular opportunities are well documented. The percentage of pupils achieving at least five good GCSEs including English and Mathematics was 72% last year, the best results ever by 6%. This is well above the National Average and puts the school in the Top Quartile for this important measure. The school are also in the Top Quartile for English 87%, and Mathematics 73%. In fact, there were excellent results across the school, both at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 3.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach PE to a diverse group of students across years 7 - 16 and must be comfortable teaching up to GCSE level.

This roles offers;

-September start - permanent role opportunity

-pay ÂŁ90- ÂŁ140 a day

-excellent management procedures and behaviour management systems in place

-regular training and CPD opportunities provided throughout the year

-an opportunity to deliver lessons to a diverse group of students
