PE Teacher

Teaching Personnel the market leader in education recruitment in the UK, is looking to appoint a PE Teacher within our client's outstanding secondary school in Warrington. The PE Teacher role will involve teaching practical and theory PE to KS3 and KS4 students. You will be teaching students with a range of different abilities up to GCSE level. The secondary school teach the AQA PE Curriculum, so previous experience teaching this curriculum is desirable.

  • PE Teacher required in September
  • Secondary school located in Warrington
  • Required to teacher practical and theory PE up to GCSE level
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406) with weekly pay

Due to an open vacancy within the PE department, the head of PE is looking to recruit an experience PE Teacher who has experience teaching the AQA curriculum, to join their cohesive team. The PE Teacher role will initially be on a temporary basis with the opportunity of earning a permanent role. The secondary school are looking for an experienced PE teacher, who is confident, outgoing and hard working to ensure you get the most out of their students.

The ideal PE Teacher will;

  • Have experience teaching PE to secondary school students
  • Produce fun and interactive lesson plans to engage with all the students
  • Has a confident classroom presence to control a class of up to 20 students
  • Have a child workforce only DBS certificate on the update service

The high achieving secondary school is located in Warrington, just off the M62 with a public transport link close by making it easy to access from Manchester. With a recent 'Good' Ofsted rating and an above average progress 8 score this is a great school for an experienced PE Teacher to work in. The secondary school have has a recent refurbishment within the gym department, with modern facilities and equipment, giving the students the best opportunity in PE.
