PE Teacher - Tower Hamlets
The PWR team are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic PE Teacher for a vibrant secondary school in the diverse borough of Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to promote physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and sporting excellence amongst a diverse student body within a supportive and active school community.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in teaching a wide range of sports and physical activities across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging practical and theoretical PE lessons, organising and leading extra-curricular sports clubs, and supporting school teams in competitions. A commitment to fostering participation and sportsmanship is essential.
We are looking for a teacher who can inspire students of all abilities to develop their physical skills and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. Both NQTs and experienced PE teachers are encouraged to apply. This role is on the Inner London pay scale. A Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) could be available for a candidate with the drive to lead a particular sport or aspect of school sport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
