Are you an experienced PE teacher looking for a new role in January?
We are currently recruiting for a PE teacher to join our partner secondary school on a full-time basis You will be teaching PE to both KS3 and KS4. You will be expected to teach both practical and theoretical lessons, including supporting students with their chosen sports for end of year GCSE examinations. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher who can pass on their passion for sports to their students and keep them engaged and motivated throughout.
The school
The school is a co-educational medium sized secondary school in Middleton, Rochdale. You will be joining a small and supportive team of 3 other PE teachers in order to deliver lessons to all year groups from year 7 to 11. The school are looking for an exceptional PE teacher to contribute to our recent success of achieving record breaking GCSE results. They are happy to accept applications from both well experienced teachers and ECT’s who are looking to develop their skillset.
Requirements
- Must hold QTS
- Previous experience teaching PE within a school
- Subject to clearance of a child-only DBS certificate
- Two education-based references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
