PE Teacher – Folkestone, Kent

Location: Folkestone
Salary: £32,000 – £51,000
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting a dynamic and committed PE Teacher for a well-regarded secondary school in Folkestone. This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about high-quality teaching and learning in Physical Education.

Role Overview:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons that inspire a lifelong love of physical activity

  • Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience advantageous)

  • Use effective assessment strategies to support student progress

  • Encourage participation in school sports teams and events

  • Uphold safeguarding, health, and safety standards at all times

Person Specification:

  • QTS required

  • Previous experience teaching PE in a secondary setting

  • Strong behaviour management and lesson planning skills

  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and student-focused approach
