Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring students to achieve their full potential in physical education and promoting a lifelong commitment to health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective physical education lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Plan, organise, and lead extracurricular sports activities, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' progress, maintaining accurate records of achievements and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and initiatives.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching physical education at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks for physical education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for promoting health and well-being among students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
