Primary Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Position: Primary PE Teacher
Location: Nottingham, NG12
Start Date: September 2024
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £27,000 - £37,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Description:
An active and community-focused primary school in Nottingham NG12 is looking for an energetic Primary PE Teacher to join their team in September 2024. The successful candidate will promote physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among students, delivering a varied and engaging PE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across all primary year groups.
  • Organize and supervise sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that encourages all students to participate in physical activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in physical education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching PE at the primary level.
  • Strong organisational and motivational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
