Teaching Personnel are the UK's leading Education Recruitment agency, and we are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work in Special Education Needs schools in the Waterlooville and surrounding areas.

We work with various SEN schools through all Key Stages, and the schools cater for a wide range of pupils with varying levels of Special Needs from Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties, as well as Physical Difficulties and Speech and Language Difficulties.

The suitable candidate will ideally have previous experience working with Special Needs individuals, and have a nurturing and caring disposition. The candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable to the needs and requirements of the school and its pupils, and not be afraid to get involved in any tasks.

The schools like the successful candidate to come in and hit the ground running. Getting involved with the pupils and staff from the get-go, and have a genuine interest in Special Needs is a must.

Teaching Personnel receive requirements for both Day to Day supply as well as Long Term placements, so there is a lot of flexibility to suit you and your availability. Many of the schools are also happy to have candidates for a free trial day in order to see how you get on.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
