PASSIONATE SCIENCE TEACHER REQUIRED

Start Date: January 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday (Part-Time & Full-Time Available)
Pay: £864.90 per week
Location: Swansea & Surrounding Areas

We are seeking an enthusiastic, inspirational, and dedicated Science Teacher to work within our partner secondary schools, supporting learners in KS3 and KS4 (ages 11–16). Whether your specialism is biology, chemistry or physics, you will deliver engaging lessons across all three disciplines, helping pupils develop confidence and curiosity in science.

In the Classroom

Science can be challenging for many pupils, but it also sparks excitement and discovery. As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Bring scientific concepts to life through clear explanations and practical demonstrations

  • Encourage pupils to ask questions, test hypotheses, and develop critical thinking

  • Guide students through experiments safely and effectively

  • Support learners of different abilities, helping them grow in confidence

  • Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment

This role is both demanding and highly rewarding as you watch your pupils' scientific understanding flourish.

Requirements

  • PGCE in Science

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Science or a related field

  • Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to obtain)

  • EWC registration

  • Full driving licencepreferred

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
