Teaching Personnel is currently working alongside an 'Outstanding' Roman Catholic Primary School in Richmond, TW14, who require a part-time Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to support the learning of a group of children with SEN in our Nursery. This post would suit someone with previous experience of supporting children with special educational needs.

The Role
- Responsible, under the direction or instruction of the teacher or line manager, to work with individual pupils or to work with small groups to supervise physical and general care of pupils, including those with SEN.
- To support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the learning environment.
- Attend to the pupil's personal needs, and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters including medical procedures following appropriate training.
About you
- Practising Catholic or someone who is sympathetic to and supportive of the Catholic ethos and values.
- Working with or caring for children of relevant age (essential).
- Working with or caring for children with SEN (essential).
- GCSE maths and English, grade A - C (essential).
- Willingness to participate in development and training opportunities (essential).
Teaching Personnel are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all children. In order to work through Teaching Personnel, you must:
- Have a current DBS on the Update Service or be willing to get one (full assistance provided).
- Be able to provide 2 references covering 6 years.
