Part-time Science teacher
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Science teacher on behalf of an Ofsted 'Good' secondary school located in Bolton.
The school are now seeking to appoint a Science teacher on a part-time basis (0.6) from January 2019.
- Science teacher (0.6)
- January 2020 - Part-time - Employment for the remainder of the academic year.
- Teaching Science - Chemistry or Physics to GCSE level.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£23,720 - £39,406)
Located on the outskirts of Bolton town centre, this 11-16 secondary school are seeking to appoint a Science teacher to cover a planned gap within the schools Science faculty.
At present the school has approximately 900 students on roll and was judged as 'Good' during a short Ofsted inspection in 2019. Their were also areas such as leadership and management that were judged as 'Outstanding'. The school is easily accessible via the M60 or M61 making the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford, Manchester and Wigan easily commutable.
Science teachers interested in this opportunity are required to;
- Hold UK QTS (NQTs welcome to apply) - PGCE, Teach First or relevant teaching based qualification
- Have experience teaching at least on area of Science to GCSE level
- Be able to consistently deliver good and outstanding practice
- Provide evidence of consistently delivering high calibre lessons across age and ability range
