Part-Time KS2 Primary Teacher – January Start | Newport (NP19)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in the Newport (NP19) area on a part-time basis from January through to the end of the academic year (July).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who values a positive team culture, high-quality teaching and the chance to build strong relationships with pupils over a longer-term placement.

About the Role

  • Part-time teaching role within Key Stage 1
  • January start, continuing until July 2025
  • Pay - £172.98 Per Day
  • Delivering engaging, creative and well-structured lessons
  • Responsibility for planning, teaching and assessment
  • Working collaboratively with the KS2 team and SLT
  • Creating a positive classroom environment where all children can thrive

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong KS1 or 2 curriculum knowledge
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain high expectations
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management
  • Reliability, flexibility and a team-focused mindset
  • Passionate about pupil progress and wellbeing
