Part-Time Nursery Teacher – Longsight
Start Date: September
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 12:00pm
Are you a passionate Early Years Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role? We are working with a welcoming nursery in Longsight that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join their team from September. About the Role
As a Nursery Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children can develop, explore, and thrive. Working alongside a supportive team, you will deliver high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Support children’s learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records where required
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ensure safeguarding procedures and welfare standards are consistently upheld

What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Previous experience teaching within a Nursery or Early Years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
