Job Title: Part-Time Nursery Assistant

Location: Clitheroe

Are you passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners? We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Part-Time Nursery Assistant to join our team in Clitheroe.

Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the daily care and supervision of children.
  • Creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
  • Supporting the development of key skills, including social, emotional, and cognitive.
  • Collaborating with the nursery team to ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A relevant qualification in childcare or early childhood education (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare).
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of child development principles.
  • A commitment to promoting a child-centered and inclusive environment.

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position, around 15 hours per week.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
