Part time teacher of Maths required for immediate start.

This is a temporary, 1 term minimum post to start immediately and candidates at all stages of their teaching careers are welcome to apply.

  • Part-time Math teaching position
  • Wigan based secondary school graded 'Good' in latest OFSTED report
  • Pay in line with experience levels and national standards
  • NQT's to be considered for this role

Our client will be considering NQTs as well as experienced teachers and the pay will reflect your experience and suitability for the role.

This part time teaching post (0.6) is a long term teaching role, required to cover a permanent absence within the school's teaching faculty. Employment is being offered on a temporary basis in the first instance however a permanent post is a definite possibility in the future; this will be dependant on performance throughout the initial outlined period of employment.

This OFSTED rated 'good' secondary school are looking for a Maths Teacher who can teach KS3-4 (although this particular timetable will require mostly KS3 teaching) and who has excellent subject knowledge. The school currently caters for around 650 pupils, which is small in comparison to other schools in the area; the majority of students that attend this school come from a white British background.

The school is situated between Orrell and the Wigan town centre making it easily accessible via car or public transport from the surrounding areas; Skelmersdale, Chorley, Standish & Ashton-in-Makerfield.
