Part-Time Maths Teacher

Secondary School | 0.8 Contract | January Start
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a secondary school in Bournemouth that is seeking a motivated and skilled Maths Teacher to join their department from January on a 0.8 (part-time) basis.

The Role
The appointed Maths Teacher will deliver engaging and structured Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting pupils of varying abilities and ensuring consistent progress. Responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress

Creating a positive and purposeful learning environment

Working collaboratively within an established Maths department
The timetable will equate to four days per week, with the specific working pattern to be discussed with the school.
The Ideal Candidate
The school would welcome applications from:

Qualified Maths Teachers with QTS or QTLS, including ECTs

Teachers with strong subject knowledge and a clear passion for Mathematics

Practitioners with confident classroom and behaviour management skills

Teachers seeking a part-time teaching role in Bournemouth from January
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
