Part-Time KS1 Classroom Teacher – Wavertree (L15)

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time KS1 Classroom Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that promote both academic success and personal development.

This is a maternity cover role, starting in October 2025 and continuing until the end of the academic year.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the curriculum and school ethos.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect and participation.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the varied needs of pupils, motivating them to achieve their best.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to our vibrant learning community.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to promote pupil progress.

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • A genuine passion for education, with a strong commitment to pupil well-being and development.
  • Creativity and flexibility to engage a wide range of learning styles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
