Teaching Personnel are currently looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant for our partner school, a specialist school in the West Didsbury area. The position will be working predominately with 3-16 year old pupils who have a variety of Special Education Needs ranging from physical, complex medical and communication needs. Ideally you will have a flexible nature and be prepared to cover across all years where needed. Your role will be supporting with behaviour management and to engage and interact with the children to enable them access the curriculum fully. The school is committed to work together with everyone involved in the life of their pupils and school.

An ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

-          School based SEN experience

-          Makaton experience or BSL (to any level)

-          Moving and handling / Team- Teach qualification (desired)

-          An empathetic and caring personality

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
