Outreach Teacher

I specifically work with the SEMH and SEN provisions in Essex and East London rea and I am seeking an Outreach Worker to provide guidance and support for primary and secondary. The School is based in Redbridge and is connected with Redbridge council. It provides education and support for pupils with additional needs. 

The role will be full time, 8.30am - 3.15pm Monday to Friday and candidates will ideally hold a driving licence as you may have to across Redbridge in order to provide support for pupils who are not attending school. 

The pupils in School mainly have additional needs and/or challenging behaviours; the pupils will often be disengaged from education and candidates must be confident in their behaviour management / engagement skills to keep pupils on task. 

The candidate suited to this role will be hard working, empathetic, resilient and looking for a long term role in a forward thinking provision. 

The role will be suited to a candidate with a good sense of humour, a passion for working with pupils who can be challenging and a calm but effective nature.
