Job description


Teaching Personnel are seeking tutors to support children who are within the most vulnerable categories; these children are often left behind by mainstream education due to the lack of additional support within a classroom.

We are looking for tutors/teachers of all subject disciplines, in particular primary level tutors with QTS required for supporting Young People with SEND and children in care Bristol, South Gloucestshire, Bath and North Somerset. This tuition will primarily cover the core subjects English, Maths and Science.

There will be different tutoring experiences open to you including online tutoring sessions, in-home tutoring and based in education centres. The work will be flexible and the rate will be between GBP15/GBP30 per hour depending on experience.

Required Experience –

  • Experience working with vulnerable people, in particular children in care and/or those with SEND is highly desirable
  • Enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service(we can help obtain this if needed)
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Two work place references that are graded on your ability
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS)
