A school in Miadenhead is seeking an English Tutor to work with students online.

• Qualified English Teachers
• English Graduates with tutoring experience.
• English Tutors looking for further school based experience.

It is expected that the required tutor will:

• Have excellent subject knowledge, as well as knowledge of school curriculum.
• Hold a portfolio of relevant resources and material that can be used to support learners.
• Set realistic learning objectives and be able to effectively manage student workloads.
• Be able to work with students with SEN, as well as students who are disengaged/school refusers.
• Be able to display the necessary attributes to build positive working relationships with disadvantaged students.
• Consider the progression rates of learners, working with school staff to discuss these in detail.

The school is ideally looking for a candidate who can move these sessions to a face to face basis after the February Half Term. Therefore, please note that applications are only able to be accepted from individuals living within reachable distance of the Maidenhead area. We welcome applications especially from those living in Maidenhead, as well as those in Slough, Windsor and High Wycombe.
