Job description

Primary SRB Teacher

We are currently working with a fantastic primary school in the CF11 area who are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated teacher to join their team in the school’s Special Resource Base (SRB) from September.

The successful teacher will be leading a small class of 10 pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). While previous ALN teaching experience would be beneficial, it is not essential — the school is looking for someone who is nurturing, adaptable and committed to supporting every child to reach their full potential. You will be supported by an experienced team of teaching assistants and the wider ALN team.

The role:

  • Full time, starting September

  • Teaching a class of 10 pupils within the SRB

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of needs

  • Creating a nurturing, inclusive and positive classroom environment

  • Working closely with support staff, SENCO, and parents to monitor and support pupil progress

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A nurturing approach and passion for supporting children with ALN

  • Strong classroom management and organisation skills

  • A flexible, proactive and positive attitude

  • Experience working within ALN/SEN or a desire to develop experience in this area

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is looking to develop their experience in an ALN setting, with excellent support provided from a committed and welcoming team.
