Supply Nursery Practitioner – Speke
Location: Speke, Liverpool

Job Type: Flexible / Temporary / Day-to-day cover
Start Date: Immediate starts & September 2025
Pay: £13.75 - £14.55 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner looking for flexible work in the Speke area? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic Supply Nursery Practitioners to support nurseries in and around Speke, providing high-quality childcare and education to young children.
Role Overview:
As a Supply Nursery Practitioner, you will:
-
Provide a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5
-
Support learning through play, planned activities, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
-
Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents
-
Step in to cover staff absences on a short- or long-term basis
-
Adapt quickly to new environments and routines
✅ Requirements:
-
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)

Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
-
A genuine passion for working with children
-
A flexible and positive attitude
-
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
