Nursery Assistants

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with cluster of nurseries in the Southampton area. Currently we are helping them with their short term staffing needs over this academic year. In addition to the school term, the nursery also operates throughout the school holidays and will often have work available during these periods if you require any.

The nursery prides their reputation on the care they provide their children and would need someone who is able to embody the following characteristics:

  • Encouraging and supportive philosophy,
  • Enjoys spending time with children,
  • Approachable in nature,
  • Flexible to situations that may arise,
  • Knowledge of the Early Years requirements,
  • Recent safeguarding training or happy to complete an online training course.

The nursery staff provide children with a stable and safe environment that allows them to develop and learn through experiences. To ensure the nurseries are a fun place to work the staff provide activities that engage children and create an enjoyable atmosphere.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
