Nursery Assistants Required!

The head teacher of a local Newport Primary school is looking for a full time Nursery Assistant to start after February half term. The position is to work 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday during term time only.
The role as a Nursery Assistant will be to work 1:1 and in small groups with children who have SEN or challenging behaviour. You will be working closely with these children assisting them in their learning and ensuring they are focused and on task.
Prior experience working as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essential – any experience working with children, in care work, or experience supporting people with SEN or challenging behaviour. As long as your personality and attitude is the right fit for the school; that is the main factor when choosing the right candidate. A minimum of core GCSE’s is required.
The pay is GBP285 to GBP300 per week, with the potential to transfer to the school’s permanent position.
