Job Title: Nursery Assistant
Location: CF5 Area, Cardiff
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: £77 per day
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
Start Date: January 8th
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a strong nursery assistant to start in a nursery we work closely with in the CF5 area. The school we are recruiting for requires an experienced nursery worker as there will be a new influx of children starting in January. This role requires someone that is quick on their feet that will take a proactive approach to assisting the class teacher. There may be some children with challenging behaviour, so nursery-based experience is essential for the role.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assisting basic care and support daily routines
- Creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Organizing and participating in age-appropriate activities.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure a smooth and positive experience for children and parents.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A passion for working with children and helping them develop.
- Basic knowledge of child development and early education.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid DBS check – can be arranged during application process
- Relevant childcare qualifications or willingness to undergo training.
The successful applicant will have a team of dedicated consultants that will provide all the necessary help and support throughout your time in this job. You will also have access to courses to further develop your experience and teaching skills which will help you in your career in education. We also offer a referral scheme bonus that allows you to earn £50 for every teacher / teaching assistant which is a great opportunity to earn some extra cash along the way!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
