Based in the Burnley area, the school is a smaller than average school with approximately 650 pupils on roll. The school has been judged as a 'Good' school in all areas by Ofsted. For a suitable candidate the school would be looking to make a permanent position available.
NQT's and experienced Music teachers would be considered for the role. The school is looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Music curriculum who would be confident planning and teaching lessons to a variety of pupil abilities and backgrounds. A successful candidate would also need to be able to plan and deliver effective intervention activities for a small cohort of pupils.
The school has a highly successful extracurricular provision and they would ideally like to appoint a candidate with experience supporting school activities such as; Instrument lessons, School productions, Choir.
A successful candidate will benefit from the following:
