Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Maternity cover
Working Pattern: 2 days per week (part-time)
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Corby who are seeking a part-time Music Teacher to cover a maternity leave.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and creative Music specialist who is looking for a 2-day-per-week role with full planning and marking responsibilities.
The Role:

Teaching Music across KS3 (KS4 experience desirable but not essential)
-
Planning engaging and creative lessons in line with the curriculum
-
Marking and assessing student work
-
Contributing positively to the department and wider school community

Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Strong subject knowledge in Music
-
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
-
Confident with planning, marking and assessment
-
Enthusiastic, reliable and committed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
