MFL Teacher - Oldham

Are you a qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher looking for your next role?

Due to an external promotion leaving a gap in the languages departments of our partner school in Oldham, Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a dedicated and passionate MFL Teacher to start from Easter 2019 or sooner if possible. This is a brilliant opportunity to work at an 'Outstanding' secondary school and continue enriching the lives of students.

  • Full time Teacher of MFL post from Easter 2019 or sooner if appropriate
  • Until the end of the academic year in the first instance with the potential for a more progressive role leading into the new academic year
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)
  • Ideally teaching French up to KS4 and Spanish up to KS3 level

Our 11-16 client school located in the Chadderton area of Oldham, Greater Manchester is located a 5 minute walk away from a tram stop for those on public transport and around a 10 minute drive from the M60 motorway for prospective candidates who are travelling by car. In their most recent Ofsted inspection in 2015, our client secondary school was graded as 'Outstanding' with inspectors commenting on "the tangible culture of self-improvement, instilled by the inspirational headteacher" which "motivates both staff and pupils to achieve their very best."

"Each student is taken on a learning journey of excellence, in every area of school life, by our outstanding and inspirational staff in unrivalled 'state of the art' facilities at our school. Our 'way' is about saying to our students tell us about your dreams and we will help you fulfil them, there is no ceiling to your ambitions here." Headteacher.

The successful candidate will be able to teach French up to GCSE level and Spanish up to KS3 level, although the school will consider candidates who are able to speak/teach other languages such as German and Italian. Prospective candidates should hold Qualified Teacher Status or other teaching qualifications within the UK, and be able to prepare and deliver high quality and engaging lessons.

If you would like to apply for this post as an MFL Teacher, please apply via the link below or send an updated CV to Chris Beckenham at Manchester North Secondary directly, alternatively call on the number provided for further information.
