MFL Teacher – Paid to Scale
Location: Warwickshire
Start Date: September 2025 or sooner (Flexible)
Contract Type: Full-time
Pay: MPS/UPS – Paid to Scale
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a beautiful secondary school in the Alcester area of Warwickshire to appoint a qualified and passionate MFL teacher on a full time basis.
The school is welcoming, supportive and passionate about pupil progress. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a QTS and a strong command of French and Spanish.
Our ideal candidate will:
- have a UK QTS in MFL
- be fluent in 2 or more languages
- have a competent knowledge of the national curriculum for modern foreign languages
- demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- be a positive and enthusiastic member of staff
- be approachable to all staff and pupils, demonstrating effective communication skills
You will be responsible for:
- the planning of dynamic MFL lessons to a range of year groups, keeping in line with the national curriculum
- assessing pupils progress on a regular basis
- providing timely feedback to all pupils, supporting their learning and development
- maintaining a commitment to safeguarding, promoting the health, safety and wellbeing of all pupils and staff
- driving standards and results within the MFL department
- encouraging active participation in lessons and engagement with taking a language for GCSEs/A-Levels

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
