MFL Teacher - Rochdale
Are you an experienced Teacher of French and Spanish? Are you looking for your next MFL Teaching role?
Teaching Personnel are recruiting a MFL Teacher on behalf of our client school in Rochdale. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they require a Languages teacher from February 2019 or sooner if possible.
- Full time MFL Teacher post from February 2019 (Earlier start available if possible)
- Role until at least the end of the academic year
- Teaching French to KS4 and Spanish to KS3
- Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)
- Suitable for NQTs
Our client is a mixed secondary school based in the Heywood area of Rochdale, and is administered by Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salford and the Church of England Diocese of Manchester. It is located just a short drive from the M60 motorway, and has good public transport links. In their latest Ofsted inspection in 2017, it was graded 'Good'.
"Our young people continue to perform exceptionally well, and the number of students who left us with both English and Mathematics at grades 4 and 5 remains above the national average for secondary schools. Our Progress 8 score also continues to improve and we are so proud of the achievements of our students. Our development priorities are always to continue to improve the quality of teaching, and improve outcomes for all students so that when they leave our school they have the skills to set them up for the future." Headteacher.
The MFL department are seeking to appoint a highly dedicated and motivated teacher of both French and Spanish, teaching both subjects to KS3 and French to GCSE level. The ability to plan and deliver both engaging and inspiring lessons to a range of different students is highly essential. The role may involve teaching students that have complex SEN needs, so an experience in this background is also desirable. Potential applicants should hold QTS within the UK as well as relevant qualifications. NQTs are encouraged to apply for this role.
If you would like to apply for this post as a MFL Teacher please apply via the link below or send an updated CV to Chris Beckenham at Manchester North Secondary directly, alternatively call on the number provided for further information.
