MFL Teacher
Location: North West England, Lancashire, Preston
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £162.31 - £251.71 Per day
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) lessons to students
- Develop and implement suitable lesson plans and curriculum for language learning
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents/guardians to support student development
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialism in teaching Modern Foreign Languages
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practises
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Previous experience teaching MFL languages at secondary level
- Understanding of different learning styles and ability levels
- Proficiency in at least one foreign language
- Familiarity with educational technology and resources
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or MFL
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Certification in additional teaching specialisms
- Participation in continuous professional development
- Knowledge of examination board requirements
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, temporary position
- Classroom-based teaching with some remote learning elements
- Collaborative work with colleagues and ongoing professional development
- Compliance with school policies and regulations
- Potential involvement in extracurricular activities and events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
