MFL Teacher – Okehampton Area
Contract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and motivated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a secondary school in the Okehampton Area. This is a full-time position, teaching languages across Key Stages 3 and 4, and offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students in their language learning journey.

The Role

As an MFL Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in French, Spanish, or German (depending on specialism).

  • Support students across KS3 and KS4, preparing them for GCSE success.

  • Inspire students to develop communication skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in languages.

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities.

  • Contribute to extracurricular opportunities such as trips, clubs, or cultural events.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote language learning within the school community.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or is working towards this.

  • Has experience teaching MFL at secondary level (KS3/KS4).

  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge in French, Spanish, or German.

  • Can motivate and engage learners through creative and interactive teaching.

  • Is committed to raising standards and fostering a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
