MFL Teacher – Hull

Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Position: MFL Teacher (French and/or Spanish)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Hull from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate linguist to inspire students and promote language learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

  • Teach French, Spanish, or both, across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Contribute to department planning and extracurricular activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold UK QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching French and/or Spanish in a secondary school setting

  • Be committed to raising pupil attainment and encouraging a love of languages

  • Have strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • Be proactive, reflective, and a strong team player
