About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated good secondary school in Canford, Dorset. This role is available on both a part-time and full-time basis, offering flexibility for the right candidate. It presents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and contribute to a well-established MFL department.
The successful candidate will be predominantly teaching Spanish across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The school is looking for a teacher who can create an engaging and immersive learning environment, helping students develop their language skills and cultural understanding.
The pay for this role will be in line with your payscale, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.

Foster an enthusiasm for language learning and cultural appreciation.

Prepare students for GCSE examinations, providing tailored support and intervention where necessary.

Assess, monitor, and track student progress, setting high expectations to drive achievement.

Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement.

Contribute to the wider school community, including involvement in extracurricular language clubs or trips.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Spanish at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is beneficial but not essential).

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language education.

Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and engage students.
