MFL Teacher (French & Spanish to A Level) – September 2025 Start

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This exciting role involves teaching French and Spanish up to A Level, inspiring students to achieve excellence in language learning.
The successful candidate will have the passion and expertise to create engaging, challenging lessons that nurture linguistic skills, cultural understanding, and a genuine love of languages. You will be joining a collaborative department that values creativity, high standards, and a supportive learning environment.
The role:

Delivering high-quality French and Spanish lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5

Planning and preparing schemes of work and lesson materials in line with the curriculum

Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback

Contributing to departmental activities, trips, and cultural enrichment opportunities
The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

Have experience teaching French and Spanish to A Level in a secondary school setting

Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills

Show commitment to professional development and collaborative teaching
