Job description

A part time position for a MLF Teacher commencing as soon as possible. The position is part time and is initially temporary however, this Setting do also have full time permanent roles available.

This particular role will involve supporting pupils developing their modern foreign language skills so a Teacher who have knowledge and experience of modern forgein languages would be desirable.

This setting is a Multi Academy Trust which runs across 4 sites all of which are located in Oldham. In its most recent inspection the trust was graded as 'outstanding' by OFTSED. The trustees cater for individuals between 4 - 19 with a Statement of SEN or an EHCP, on the autistic spectrum and/or have significant communication and interaction difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

The ideal MFL Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience and an understanding of MFL
  • An understanding of how to cater for pupils with SEN
  • A commitment to assuring that all pupils can achieve their optimal academic potential

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
