Maths Tutor

TP Tutors are currently looking for a committed and passionate Mathematics Tutor to support students in the Sunderland area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a proven track record of helping students achieve academic success in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, personalised maths tuition sessions to students of varying ages and abilities
• Prepare tuition sessions and materials tailored to individual student needs
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Create a supportive, engaging, and motivating learning environment

Requirements:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable
• Excellent subject knowledge of the UK curriculum
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enhanced child workforce only DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Punctual, professional, and reliable
