1:1 Maths Tutor – Chesterfield (S44)

Want a flexible, rewarding role where you can truly impact a student’s progress? Join TP Tutors as a 1:1 Maths Tutor in the Chesterfield (S44) area, delivering personalised support in either school or home settings.

This is a great opportunity to help learners grow in confidence, close knowledge gaps, and achieve their academic goals.

The Role:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 Maths tuition (KS2–GCSE and/or A-Level)
  • Deliver sessions in school or home environments
  • Plan and adapt lessons based on individual learning needs
  • Support a range of learners, including those with SEN
  • Encourage engagement, confidence, and academic progress

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring Maths
  • Strong subject knowledge with clear communication skills
  • Experience working with children or young people (SEN desirable)
  • Patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
  • Good behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
