Job description

Maths Tutor – Chesterfield (S44)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Tutor to work with a student in the Chesterfield (S44) area. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored support and help the learner build confidence and achieve their full potential in Maths.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-to-one tuition in Maths
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Support the student with core maths skills, homework, and exam preparation
  • Build positive relationships and encourage student engagement
  • Monitor and report on student progress

Requirements:

  • Experience tutoring or teaching Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A patient, supportive, and flexible approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK

Working Hours:

  • Part-time / flexible hours available
  • Typically weekdays (Monday to Friday)

Location:

  • Chesterfield, S44 (local travel required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
