Maths Teacher - Tameside Secondary School September start

Tameside Secondary School are looking for a Maths teacher to commence an upcoming maternity cover form October half term. This is a full time Maths teaching post delivering Maths across KS3 and KS4, whereby the successful candidate will have a proven track record of raising attainment in Mathematics. Medium in size with around 800 students the school has a current Good grading from Ofsted in 2018, providing an excellent platform for an inspirational Maths teacher.

This maternity role will start in October until at least July 2018 in the first instance. Academically the school has a positive progress 8 score with students achieving in line with their expected levels. The Maths department is large in size with 10 full class teachers and an experienced Head of Maths.

Situated in the M34 post code of Tameside the school has a train station half a mile away and regular bus routes for those that don't drive or just off the M60/M67 motorways for those who drive.
