Maths Teacher- Stockport

Teaching Personnel have just been approached by our high achieving partner school in Stockport to recruit for a Maths Teacher. This full time Maths (KS3 & 4) teaching position will start from September 2018 and will be for one term initially. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for a Maths Teacher to join a reputable school and teach pupils who are passionate about learning:

  • Teacher of Maths- Edexcel curriculum
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)
  • School located in Stockport with excellent accessibility to the surrounding areas
  • "Pupils take great pride in attending the school and it is a popular choice within the local community"- Ofsted, 2017

Due to an unexpected upcoming gap within the Maths department, an exciting opportunity has developed for a Maths teacher to join our partner school on a full time basis in the new academic year. The incoming Maths teacher will join a dedicated and supportive Maths department consisting of 11 teachers. To ascertain suitability for the role, this position will initially be for a term. However, due to the nature of the absence it is very likely to extend into the New Year.

The school-

The school is a regularly over-subscribed with over 1000 pupils currently on roll. At present, the numbers of pupils eligible for the pupil premium funding is slightly higher than the national average. The proportion of pupils from minority ethnic groups and for who English is not their first language is much lower than national averages.

Located in Stockport, the school is easily accessible from several boroughs. Areas of Tameside such as Hyde and Dukinfield are only a short drive away. There are also direct public transport links to the school from Stockport town centre.

How to apply-

The Senior Leadership team are looking to meet with interested candidates next week. Therefore for immediate consideration, please do not hesitate to send your full CV to Paul via the link below. Alternatively please contact the Manchester South Secondary branch directly on the number provided.
