Teaching Personnel have the perfect role for you. We are currently recruiting for an 'Outstanding' secondary school in Preston, Lancashire who require a Teacher of Maths from Monday 9th April to fill a gap within the Maths department.

This is an exciting opportunity which could lead to a permanent position for the successful Maths Teacher. The school are looking for a forward thinking Maths Teacher with enthusiasm and passion for the subject across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The incoming Maths Teacher will be required to plan and deliver high quality Maths lessons up to GCSE and will be responsible for the marking of students work during the placement. This position is initially until the end of the academic year but could potentially lead to a permanent position.

To be eligible to apply for this role you MUST have:

- Valid UK PGCE in Maths with QTS

- Maths Degree

- Recent experience teaching KS3/4 Maths

- The ability to plan and deliver high quality Maths lessons

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
