Maths Teacher required for an immediate start in Dewsbury

My client secondary school in the Dewsbury area are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths teacher to cover a Maternity post starting after the Easter holidays (April 2019) until the end of the year (December 2019).

You will be teaching in collaboration with the supportive Maths department to plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons up to KS4. You will be required to become an integral part of the school and promote the strong ethos throughout all lessons to boost and raise attainment of the pupils.

To be successful for this role you need the following:

• Experience of teaching 9 - 1 GCSE Maths
• Presence within the classroom - the ability to manage challenging behaviour
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons
• Dedication to commit to parents evenings and CPD events throughout school
• Enthusiasm to promote the subject of Maths within all lessons

The school in question has a very strong ethos running throughout and receives a lot of support from other schools within the partnership. They are expected to be rated 'Good' by Ofsted by September 2019. With easy accessible routes and a later start time of 9am, that morning commute becomes even easier.
