Are you a confident and passionate Mathematics practitioner looking for a new challenge? Newly Qualified Teachers, and more experienced colleagues are encouraged to apply.

Our large, mixed Secondary School is seeking a Teacher of Maths to fill an open vacancy in their Mathematics Department. The Department is a supportive one, which enjoys strong leadership and excellent facilities.

The School is based in the Cathedral City of Chichester and has excellent transport links by rail and road. The School has a vibrant and dynamic culture, that promotes inclusivity and positive Student outcomes. Recently graded 'Good' by Ofsted, the School and Maths Department are well on their way to 'Outstanding'. The Maths Department is part of a wider STEM faculty at the School, and enjoys a collaborative approach to teaching and management.

The sucessful Candidate should:

  • Be able to exhibit outstanding practice
  • Be fully supportive of Students and Colleagues alike, in achieving excellent Student outcomes
  • Prioritise Student wellbeing and inclusivity
  • Be passionate about Mathematics learning and teaching
  • Be able to contextualise the teaching of Mathematics for modern Society
  • Be able to teach up to KS4, an interest in or the ability to teach up to KS5 is desirable but not essential

The School is an Academy under an established Trust, who have a number of academies in the local area. The Academy Trust encourage the sharing of best practice, and offering outstanding CPD to its Staff. Regular CPD is delivered both formally and informally, and the Trust consistently promotes the progression and wellbeing of its Staff.

The successful Candidate will join the School on a temp to perm basis. Interviews will be held until a suitable Candidate is found for the role, please apply early to avoid disappointment.
