Maths Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Maths teacher on behalf of our client school located in Salford.

Due to a gap within their Maths department and the new academic year approaching, our client is looking to appoint an experienced, confident and dedicated Maths Teacher to start in September, to maintain their high academic standards.

  • Full time Maths teacher - September 2019 start
  • Opportunity for a permanent contract for the following academic year
  • Located in South Manchester
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £38,622)

This is the ideal opportunity for any Maths Teacher considering their next step forward in their career, within a school which is continually improving results year on year. As one of the top schools in South Manchester, any Maths teachers looking for a progressive role will not be short of opportunities.

The school wish to appoint a Maths Teacher who;

  • Hold UK QTS and a PGCE in Maths
  • Has a proven record of achieving excellent results and raising attainment across all pupil abilities
  • Is keen to excel within this department with future progression opportunities available
  • Willing to help out with extra curriculum activities
  • Is able to cover other core subjects
  • Is able to commit to a full time position

Our client's school is a secondary school, located in the heart of Salford and is a short walk from a tram stop, several bus routes and is a short drive from Manchester City Centre. During the most recent Ofsted report, the school was judged as a 'Good' school across all areas and is constantly looking to improve. The school is a vibrant, diverse and innovative setting, promoting independence and achievement.
